On 11 March 2021, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda will hold an educational webinar panel discussion about data transfer requirements under the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). This session will focus on the Cross-Border Privacy Rules, a certification system that was recently recognised by our office as an effective mechanism for transferring personal information to overseas third parties. To discuss this mechanism and how it functions, Commissioner White will be joined by:
