The Innovation Unit is focused on supporting collective intelligence by introducing coaching, consulting, and workshops to enhance privacy awareness in individuals and organisations. The Unit is committed to developing and encouraging responsible innovation. This approach to innovation is based on the premise that major collaborative advancements and community resource banks can be developed through thought leadership, joint efforts, and shared resources. Innovation at PrivCom can be viewed in three stages: sustainable innovation (privacy concepts and approaches), disruptive innovation (leveraging privacy with social, technological, environmental, and economic change), and transformative innovation (ethical privacy for Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies).
