Commissioner White appointed to role of Queensland Privacy Commissioner

Today Alexander White, Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda, has been announced as the appointee for the role of Privacy Commissioner for Queensland, Australia.
Commissioner White has informed His Excellency Governor Andrew Murdoch of his resignation effective 30 September 2025. He will continue to serve in his current post during the interim until that time.
The selection of Commissioner White is not only a personal accomplishment but also a testament to the work of the team within the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda (PrivCom) and the results that PrivCom’s officers have achieved for the protection of individuals’ rights in Bermuda.
